Overview

PlaySudoku (playsudoku.top) is a free online Sudoku website for a general audience. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using this site, you agree to this policy.

No accounts

This website does not require registration and has no account system. You can play Sudoku and browse lessons without creating a profile or logging in.

Game progress and local storage

Game progress, settings, and related puzzle data are stored only in your browser using localStorage (or similar browser storage). This data stays on your device. We do not receive or host your puzzle progress on our servers. Clearing your browser data will remove it.

Server logs

Like most websites, our servers automatically record standard access logs when you visit a page. These logs may include your IP address, user agent (browser and device type), request URL, referrer, and timestamp. We use this information for security, abuse prevention, and basic traffic diagnostics. We do not sell log data.

Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, and (where allowed) show personalized ads based on your interests and prior visits to this or other sites.

Because we do not run user accounts and store game progress only on your device, most “personal” data we hold is limited to ordinary server logs and data handled by advertising partners such as Google.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of creating accounts or profiles. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
